Every deck includes the standard ? (unsure) and coffee (need a break) cards. The host can still edit the deck mid-session.
The modified Fibonacci deck is the most popular planning-poker scale. The widening gaps reflect growing uncertainty for larger items: a 13 could really be anything from an 8 to a 21, so the deck naturally signals lower precision for bigger work. The 0 and 0.5 cover near-trivial items; 20, 40, and 100 flag items too big to estimate confidently (a signal to split them).
